I completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours - Finance) and a Master of Commerce (Finance) at the University of Melbourne. In 2007, I worked as a tutor and research assistant at the Department of Finance, University of Melbourne.
My PhD
My PhD topic will probably be related to empirical asset-pricing. More specifically, I am interested in examining the time-series and cross-sectional characteristics of stock returns. At the moment, I am extending my earlier research, which investigates the profitability of momentum trading strategies in the Australian stock market after transaction costs.
Preferred professional directions
I aim to pursue an academic career or, alternatively, to work for a financial institution, possibly as an analyst or quantitative researcher.
