Derivatives Down Under - Fourth Annual MDRG Conference
Wednesday 19 March 2008 at the University of Melbourne
Derivatives Down Under 2008 is an all-day event held at the Melbourne Business School. A full program includes a choice of three afternoon streams: Pricing Credit Risk, Co-movement of the Derivatives and the Spot and Computational Finance
Places are strictly limited, with preference given to MDGRG members.

Correlations and Copulas - Risk Management Conference

NYU Downunder Conference
Friday 29 March 2007 at the University of Melbourne
The Department of Finance's Melbourne Derivatives Research Group
(MDRG) hosted the NYU Down Under Derivatives Conference
on the 29th of March (co-sponsored by the Financial Integrity Research
Network (FIRN).
The conference keynote speaker was Professor Rob Engle (Nobel Prize for
Economics, 2003) of New York University. Three of the department's visiting
Professorial Fellows, Richard Stapleton (University of Manchester), Marti
Subrahmanyam (New York University) and Menachem Brenner (New York
University) were amongst the six speakers. The conference was well
received and well attended, the audience including a substantial number of alumni,
research students and academics from Monash and RMIT.
