Scholarships, prizes and financial support
There are a number of opportunities for financial aid: through Academic scholarships and prizes, and by internships and vacation work offered by the leading financial institutions in Melbourne. Opportunities exist for both International students and Australian/NZ residents.
Scholarships for postgraduate students
A range of scholarships is available to support postgraduate study. These are available to both Australian and International students with first class academic records.
- The Department of Finance offers significant scholarships to its PhD students from its own funds.
- Additional funds are available from other University sources
- The Melbourne Scholarships Office administers most of the scholarships available to postgraduate students
