Biography

SHEKHAR, CHANDER has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University and a M.S. from University of Virginia. He teaches the core Finance subject and electives in Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Modeling. His ongoing research in areas of corporate takeovers, initial public offerings, privatization and evolution of markets addresses topics such as merger premiums, bidder competition, takeover regulation and strategy, selling mechanisms, and the governance of new firms.
